During analysis I can select 'show threat' and a red arrow will show up showing a possible move by my opponent. What does this exactly mean? Is this the best move Scan calculates based on the current position?

@Cacique Stockfish will compute the best move for the side who just played, effectively demonstrating what the threat is on the position. Threat, literally means what is threatened on the upcoming move.
