As of now, it has become much easier to become a member of the Team WFD, the Team for official and international FRYSK! and Frisian Draughts tournaments.

It is no longer necessary to create a special account for joining the team, anyone who has a Lidraughts account can join the Team WFD now.

To celebrate this step and to encourage draughts players all over the world to become a member of the Team WFD, the WFD Foundation organises two welcome tournaments on 1 October and 8 October, with special prizes for new team members.
